Finsam - Ice Machines

The Finsam Ice pplants are asy to transport and offer a large cooling capacity. These plants are well-proven and offer unbeatable benefits, such as rapid cooling and keeping surfaces clean and humid.
​
The containerized ice plant can provide automatic delivery to boats, truck/bins and with ice slurry production. Finsam ice plants are based on the well-proven ice rake concept, delivering to fish ports and factories all over the world.

Finsam ice plants can also offer self service ice delivery via a card system. Customer database records ice deliveries, with interphase option for data exchange to administrative systems. The control system for automatic ice plants features touch display and remote control via the internet.

Finsam plate ice is clear and clean. Moderate subcooling produces ice that is slightly sub-cooled but we on one side. Wet and dry-wet for instant cooling, dry for long-term storage and hot climates.

Ice of adjustable thickness and crushing grades can be made, well adapted to any of the cooling purposes where ice is used. Flat and parallel surfaces without sharp edges mean no ice damage to goods being cooled.

Finsam Ice Machines – VIP models for ammonia and freon with capacities of up to 35 tonnes / 24 hours, and Plate ice machines with capacities of up to 90 tonnes / 24 hours.
Slurry Ice – made from crushed, plate or flake ice. Ice is stored in dry condition and then blended in a blender tank, offering high slurry production capacity. It is possible to control the salinity.

With Finsam, you can produce conventional ice and slurry ice in the same plant.
Flow-Ice – offers rapid decrease of fish temperature. Flow ice is extremely soft and gentle, which protects the quality of the fish. It can be pumped and is easy to distribute via pipe systems. No fresh water is required for this compact design. The evaporation temperature is -10°c which gives low power consumption. The unit is designed for on-board installation and high capacity models are available for pumps which circulate ammonia.
The system can be combined with RSW units. Complete flow-ice plants including pumps, controls and storage systems. Flow-ice racks with 2-12 ice generators can be installed for connection to remote refrigeration systems. Ice generators as an o.e.m. product for other ice machine manufacturers.
